Originally from Canada, Dr Annatasha Bartel obtained her veterinary medicine degree with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2008. Since then, she has gained experience in both small animal internal and emergency medicine before specialising in anaesthesia and analgesia at Cornell University. Her clinical interests include local and regional anaesthesia, anaesthesia for critically ill patients and gastrointestinal impacts of anaesthesia. She holds the role of President Elect Aside for the North American Veterinary Anaesthesia Society and have previously contributed to the ACVAA examination committee.
